Monaco wins against Bordeaux with stunning score 4-0. The win, Bordeaux’s third over Monaco this season, meant the visitors have now gone 10 games without defeat at the Stade Louis II.
Radamel Falcao scored a hat trick as Monaco moved top of Ligue 1 for 24 hours at least with a comfortable 4-0 victory at 10-man Bordeaux.
Leonardo Jardim’s visitors made an astonishing start and found themselves two goals to the good inside four minutes thanks to defender Djibril Sidibe’s opener and Falcao’s close-range first.
Monaco’s two-goal advantage remained intact at the break and they did not have to wait long for a third after the restart.
Thomas Lemar’s pinpoint pass on the counter-attack found Valere Germain, who neatly picked out Falcao to add his second of the game.
Falcao was handed an opportunity to seal his hat trick when Monaco were awarded a penalty and he converted for his 12th goal of the season.
Bordeaux’s misery was compounded after 68 minutes when Adam Ounas was shown a straight red card for going through the back of Sidibe.
