Which are the most memorable unique world events on the Cote d’Azur that complement the iconic Monaco trio, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Monaco Yacht Show and, of course, the  Rolex Monte Carlo Masters Tennis. 

Well you could choose either the Lemon Festival or the Nice Carnival if you are visiting Monaco and looking for a day out. 

For most of the last 2 weeks we have been enjoying the zest-flavoured Golden parades and Night-time parades (parades of lit-up citrus floats). 

You have to admire the Exhibition of giant citrus figures and themes in the gardens Biovès. Jaw dropping… there are no other words. Your eyes will hardly believe it if you haven’t been before.

Looking ahead into this season which is about to start in earnest there are additions to the ranks of Scuderia Ferrari. 

And guess who will be one of the key Development Drivers working in support of race drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz over the course of the season. And who knows … maybe also supporting Charles and Lewis Hamilton in the 2025 season. 

Yes… it will be brother Arthur Leclerc who is joining Antonio Fuoco and Davide Rigon in the role of Development Driver. The job entails mainly working in the simulator, on car development, set-up work and updates introduced during the season. 

The National Council officially passed a new law which establishes maternity leave for self-employed workers in Monaco during a Public Legislative Session on Thursday 22 February 2024.

Bill No. 1086 addresses maternity leave for self-employed female workers and is affiliated with the Health, Accident and Maternity Insurance Fund for Self-Employed Workers (CAMTI). The duration of this maternity leave (which will soon be specified by ministerial decree) cannot be less than eighteen weeks. In addition, it provides that a fixed daily compensation will be paid for the duration of the leave (the amount of which will also be defined by ministerial decree). Finally, the law is open to self-employed workers who become pregnant on the date that the law was passed.
