Monaco Moravia Hot-Air Balloon Flies the Flag for the Principality
There are plenty of impressive sights during the Monaco Yacht Show: gleaming superyachts, helicopters overhead and some of the most extravagant toys money can buy.
But this year, one of the most striking spectacles was nowhere near the water.
For the second year running, the Monaco Moravia hot-air balloon rose majestically above the Place du Palais Princier, bringing an unexpected splash of red and white to one of the Principality’s most famous settings.
And getting it there was considerably more complicated than simply turning on the burner.
Top of the League Monaco United Make It Three from Three with Remarkable Away Win

Goalkeepers are supposed to stop goals. Pauline Moitrel decided that, for one afternoon at least, she might as well score them too.
Monaco United maintained their perfect start to the Regional Championship with a hard-fought 1–0 victory away to Saint-Didier-Pernoise, and they did it in extraordinary fashion.
Both teams arrived with two wins from two, making this an early-season battle for first place. On a difficult pitch, the contest quickly became physical and fiercely competitive.
Monaco enjoyed more possession and created several promising opportunities, but Saint-Didier-Pernoise refused to yield. Half-time arrived with the score still 0–0, and as the second half progressed, another breakthrough seemed increasingly difficult to find.
“Oui, Chef!” Celebrates Haute Cuisine in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

A new festival dedicated to haute cuisine is coming to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on 3 and 4 October 2026. The first ever “Oui, Chef!” (Yes, Chef!) will be transforming Cap-Martin Park into a culinary village. Chefs, artisans, producers, and enthusiasts are set to gather for two days to share their expertise and passion for fine food.
Sponsored by Marcel Ravin, a Michelin-starred chef with three stars (two at Blue Bay Marcel Ravin and one at Elsa Marcel Ravin) the festival will feature culinary demonstrations, masterclasses, meet-the-chef sessions, workshops, and children’s activities.
Five Stars Shine as Monaco Basket Sweeps Aside Rouen-Bihorel

If Monaco Basket Association wanted to make an impression on the opening night of the LF2 season, an 89–41 victory was a fairly convincing way to do it.
Nearly 600 spectators gathered at the Gaston-Médecin hall in Stade Louis-II for Monaco’s first league encounter of the 2026–27 campaign. They witnessed a performance that began cautiously but ended as an exhibition of fast, flowing and remarkably collective basketball.
By the final buzzer, Rouen-Bihorel had been beaten by 48 points.
