Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology pays tribute to Prince Rainier III
The Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology of Monaco (MAP) is currently presenting the “A Prince, a Museum” exhibition until 5 April. Documents and pieces from the museum’s collections that have never been exhibited before pay tribute to the museum’s founder. Selected by Elena Rossoni-Notter, director of the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology, the history of the museum is revealed through seven spaces that celebrate the museum’s creation. The exhibition portrays excavations in Monaco, France and Italy and features collections donated by Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace.
Prince Albert II speaks about the Blue Economy at the 15th Biomarine in Biarritz
Prince Albert II was invited to speak about the preservation of the ocean during the 15th edition of Biomarine on 30 January in Biarritz, France. The think tank was launched in 2008 and is dedicated to the blue economy.
The Sovereign spoke about the Albert-II foundation, which protects the ocean, promotes biodiversity, fights against climate change and encourages the development of clean and sustainable projects.
Did Princess Alexandra borrows a vintage Chanel outfit from her mom, Princess Caroline?
Princess Alexandra of Hanover attended Chanel’s haute couture presentation during Paris Fashion Week on 23 January dressed in ensemble that was perfectly reminiscent of an outfit worn by Princess Caroline in the 1990s. Charlotte Casiraghi, who is an ambassador for Chanel, also attended the fashion house’s presentation of its spring-summer 2024 collection at the Grand Palais Éphémère.
Princess Alexandra, 24 years old, opted for a black skirt suit with a white collar, white braids around the cuffs and ornate cameo buttons featuring the profile of Gabrielle Chanel. On social media, the Royal Fashion Police noted similarities between the outfit and one worn by Princess Caroline in 1990 and 1993. She wore a distinctly similar outfit when she attended the flower bouquet competition with Prince Rainier III and two toddlers in tow: Charlotte and Pierre Casiraghi. Whether or not Princess Alexandra borrowed the outfit from her mom remains unknown.
