The history of the red carpet at the Palace of Festivals on the Croisette in Cannes dates back to the pre-war times. The Cannes Film Festival was born as a response to the first world film festival held in Venice.
Applications are currently being accepted for the 4th edition of "Les Talents du Fort" (Talents of the Fort), open to young artists from the Principality. The event aims to showcase young talent from Monaco during a friendly evening in the magical setting of the open air theatre, Fort Antoine.
