Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is celebrating a double win at the International Gaming Awards and the Casino Awards 2022 in London.

The Casino is headed up by  Roman Aureglia and Jean-Luc Guenier and has recently reopened for tours. After the Prince’s Palace it is the most visited place in the Principality. This jewel of the Belle Époque, inaugurated on February 18, 1863 is after a pause during the pandemic, once again a thriving hub of visitors. 

It is the most opulent gambling house in Europe, with its decoration, the work of the most renowned engravers and goldsmiths on the continent. And there is no better showcase of the art of living.

Following the successful launch in 2021, an innovative hybrid “Festival-meets-Summit” experience, is back to celebrate the streaming industry’s content, makers, creators and talent, providing film and content production industry inside know-how and leveraging streaming technology to power the event.

The Monaco Streaming Film Festival, in conjunction with The Reg Grundy Innovation Award, will take place from Tuesday 31 May to Friday 3 June 2022 at the Grimaldi Forum, following the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix.

With HelloMonaco looking on an International Jury has just met in the Princess Grace Rose Garden for a final examination of roses before deliberating and sharing a moment of conviviality with the members of the Association of Friends of the Rose Garden, and the DAU (Department of Urban Development) who organised the event – everyone also enjoying themselves mingling with the participants in competition.

More than 70 varieties of roses were competing for prizes under their eyes. The number of flowers, the weeks of flowering, the resistance to diseases, the fragrance, the quality of the rose (colour, rise, floridity…) and the plant (foliage, vigour, etc.) all counted. 

The Jury of the 75th Festival de Cannes and its President unveiled

French actor Vincent Lindon will be the President of the Jury of the 75th Festival de Cannes. Together with eight jury members, the actor who won Best Actor in 2015 will present the Palme d’Or to one of the 21 films in competition on Saturday, May 28, during the closing ceremony, to be broadcast live by France Télévisions and Brut.

Isabelle Huppert was the last French star to be Jury President in 2009. In the history of the Festival, French celebrities have often held this role in an anniversary year, such as Yves Montand in 1987 for the 40th Festival, Gérard Depardieu in 1993 for the 45th Festival, and Isabelle Adjani in 1997 for the 50th.

Winners against Angers (2-0) this Sunday as part of the 35th round of Ligue 1, the Rouge et Blanc won their 7th consecutive match and remain more than ever in the race for the podium.

And it’s seven! Once again in to form, AS Monaco recorded a seventh consecutive win this Sunday against Angers (2-0), confirming their status as the most in-form team among the five major European leagues. The Rouge et Blanc have not had such a series in Ligue 1 since January/February 2021!
