Princely Family attends Grand Prix Qualifying Rounds
Several members of the Princely Family visited the Circuit de Monaco to watch the qualifying rounds ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix on 6 June 2026. Pierre Casiraghi, Beatrice Borromeo, Charlotte Casiraghi, Andrea Casiraghi, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Princess Alexandra, Ben-Sylvester Strautmann, and Louis and Marie Ducruet were in attendance.
The Monaco Grand Prix held three qualifiers (Q1, Q2, and Q3) which determined the starting grid for Sunday’s race. Because overtaking on the tight Circuit de Monaco is incredibly difficult, securing a top position during qualifying rounds is vital for a driver’s success in Monaco.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attend Grand Prix Presentation of New Emergency Vehicles
As part of the 83rd Monaco F1 Grand Prix, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attended the presentation of Monaco’s new INEOS intervention vehicles for Fire and Emergency Services on 5 June 2026.
Following the presentation, the Princely Couple met with emergency responders who were later deployed to the various Monaco Red Cross first-aid stations located at the Place du Casino. Designed for use during the Grands Prix and other races held in the Principality, these vehicles aim to strengthen the operational capabilities for firefighting, emergency extraction, and rescue operations.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene host Monaco Grand Prix Reception
The Princely Couple hosted the reception for the 83rd Monaco Grand Prix, held at the Oceanographic Museum on 5 June 2026. The glamorous evening served as the traditional kick-off to race weekend and welcomed VIPs, including Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet.
Princess Charlene drew widespread attention for her stunning appearance in an aquamarine satin jumpsuit by ethical and sustainable fashion brand D2Line.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene received by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia during Official Visit to Spain
The Princely Couple were welcomed to Spain by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia on 1 June 2026. The official visit celebrated the 150th anniversary of Monaco’s diplomatic mission in Spain and the 10th anniversary of the Spanish branch of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. It was the first time that Princess Charlene was received by the Spanish royal family.
The two royal couples visited the Botanical Garden, where the 8th Monaco Artists Forum is being held until 13 June. The Forum features 50 Monegasque and resident artists at the historic Villanueva Pavilion. The two-day visit also included a meeting with President Pedro Sánchez.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene visit IE University Campus in Madrid
The Princely Couple continued their visit to Spain with a trip to IE University on 2 June 2026. The visit celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Spanish branch of the Prince Albert II Foundation. Princess Charlene toured the campus accompanied by Mar Hurtado de Mendoza, Global Vice President for Recruitment and Marketing, and Barry Cooper, Principal of the Global College.
Princess Charlene celebrates Mother’s Day
To celebrate Mother’s Day, a photo of Princess Charlene with her children, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, was shared on the Princely Palace’s instagram. Monaco and France celebrate Mother’s Day on the last Sunday in May, which was 31 May 2026. The photo was captioned with, “Wishing all moms a Happy Mother’s Day.” The photograph was taken by Vanessa von Zitzewitz.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attend Monaco’s Corpus Christi Celebrations
The Princely couple attended Corpus Christi celebrations from the window of the Prince’s Palace on 3 June, the evening before the holiday. One of the most important religious celebrations in the Principality, Corpus Christi is a public holiday in Monaco that has been observed for centuries.



The observance began with a Pontifical Mass, celebrated by His Excellency Archbishop Dominique-Marie David in Monaco’s Cathedral. Next was the procession of the Blessed Sacrament, which made its way through the streets of Monaco-Ville. When the procession reached to the Palace Square, the Prince’s Carabiniers band played the bugle call “Aux Honneurs.”
Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline attend “The Rock of Champions” Film Premiere
The Sovereign and the Princess of Hanover attended the premiere of “The Rock of Champions” at the Grimaldi Forum on 27 May. The new documentary directed by Yann-Antony Noghès highlights twelve athletes from the Principality. Athletes including Pierre Casiraghi, swimmer Lisa Pou, boxer Hugo Micallef, free-diver and four-time world record holder Pierre Frolla, rally co-driver turned commentator Daniel Elena, as well as Mélanie Antoinette de Massy were also in attendance. The film’s central question is: how did the world’s smallest country become one of the world’s leading hubs for sports training? The documentary will be broadcast on Canal+ and Monaco Info in the near future.
