The Beking Monaco event is a celebration of cycling involving professionals, amateurs and families. It concluded this weekend in grandiose fashion at Port Hercule. This year’s edition marked a defining moment in cycling history drawing together more than three of the world’s greatest cyclists with over 50 Tour de France stage victories between them, united on one podium! It also united cycling enthusiasts for a great charitable cause.
Cycling stars like Tadej Pogacar, Mark Cavendish, Primoz Roglic, and Peter Sagan headlined the event. The day’s program featured mixed team competitions, interactive sessions for children with cycling stars, and the adrenaline-pumping professional race on a thrilling 1.3 km urban track set along Monaco streets.
As I stepped into the grand foyer of Dubai Opera, the air was abuzz with anticipation and excitement for the grand opening with the Swan Lake of the Hungarian State Ballet. The elegant chandeliers illuminated the opulent surroundings, casting a soft, warm glow on the marble floors and intricately designed walls. It was the opening night of a new season full of innovations thanks to the young and talented new Italian Superintendent Paolo Petrocelli who is giving this institution programming worthy of the beauty of the place. I also had the privilege of being a VIP guest at this prestigious event.

The excitement among Formula 1 aficionados has surged following the Automobile Club revealing the official poster for the upcoming 81st Monaco Grand Prix. The race is set to grace the Principality’s streets from May 23rd to 26th. The poster, unveiled on November 9th, exudes an aura reminiscent of the iconic ‘Silver Arrow’ Formula 1 car. Fans of Charles Leclerc and of course Lewis Hamilton, the ace driver for the Silver Arrows and 7 time world champion are thrilled at the prospect of a duel between these two heavyweights in Monte Carlo in 2024… not to forget current world champion Max Verstappen!
‘My Responsible Restaurant’ Label presented to Monaco’s Town Hall
Monaco’s Town Hall restaurant officially received a “Mon Restau Responsable” (My Responsible Restaurant) label on Tuesday 28 November. Mayor Georges Marsan, accompanied by Deputy Marjorie Crovetto, who is in charge of Environment and Sustainable Development, as well as several members of the Municipal Council formalized the Municipal Restaurant’s certification.
The certification attests to the establishment’s ability to commit to several guidelines. Obtained via the ‘Fondation Pour l’Homme et la Nature’ (Foundation for Man and Nature) the guidelines are divided into 4 categories.
