Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo Wins prestigious Triple Crown Award from Condé Nast Magazine
The Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo has won the Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s “Triple Crown” award, a major distinction announced in June 2026 that recognizes the “best hotels in the world”.
“Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo is the first and only hotel in Monaco to receive this honour during the inaugural edition,” said the Hotel Metropole in a recent press release.
The Triple Crown recognizes a rare selection of establishments that have received all three of the magazine’s major awards: the Hot List (for best new hotels), the Gold List (editors’ favourite hotels), and the Readers’ Choice Awards. The award, which combines recognition from both publishers and millions of discerning readers, makes the Triple Crown one of the most influential distinctions in the global hotel industry.

In 2025, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover visited the Ardennes twice, first in April and then in December, reaffirming the deep historical and emotional ties between the Principality and this region of northern France. These visits were not simply ceremonial engagements. Together, they formed a powerful narrative of continuity, remembrance, and dynastic identity, reconnecting Monaco’s reigning family with ancestral lands linked to the Duchy of Rethel and the Mazarin heritage. They also cast renewed light on the role of two remarkable women whose lives profoundly shaped the destiny of the Principality.
