Two International Circus Jubilees Combined this January

It’s just the tip of the iceberg that has just been revealed. The first elements of the two Grand Circus Jubilees combined into one phantasmagoric Festival to open the first month of 2023 with a blast. The 45th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival and 10th New Generation Festival will be taking place from Friday 20th to Sunday 29th January 2023. 

To mark the jubilee editions of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival and the New Generation Festival, brand new acts on the bill at the famous Fontvieille Big Top are designed take your breath away!

Monaco, with its area of just about two square kilometres, is known not only as a state with the largest concentration of millionaires, but also as the most cosmopolitan country in the world. Today we present a new section dedicated to the young talents of Monaco. Our first guest is the young pianist Stella Almondo, who by the age of 16 has already received a large number of music awards as well as the respect of professionals and love of the public.

Every holiday season, Action Innocence Monaco creates a glittering forest of Christmas trees in the lobby of the Hôtel de Paris to raise money for its work in protecting children from online crime. 

This year, the NGO celebrated its 20th anniversary by auctioning 20 gorgeous Christmas trees on 13 December during a record-breaking event attended by Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene. In total, the auction managed to raise an incredible 156,100 euros for the organization.

We can’t wait to hear what will be launched by the remarkable Stars’N’Bars crew … let’s call them Monaco’s celebrated hospitality magicians. With Kate Powers guiding them, the Principality’s Stars and Stripes venue has been a magnet for celebrities and locals looking for uniquely US fare, hamburgers and Tex Mex. Not to mention it has been an attraction for the whole of the Côte d’Azur. So much so that the bar boasts 500.000 clients a year. That’s some success that the beloved late Kate Powers sparked.

Keep showing the love for Stars’N’Bars for two more months until the final TexMex shindig on January 27th 2023. Christmas and New Years treats with its original authentic menus await us.

The Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series is an exciting monthly programme of regattas and training weekends for the one-design J70 boats from December to March.

Now in its second Act of the series it continues to prove to be a very successful format with more than 350 sailors coming from across Europe to set up their winter training base in the Principality to prepare for the upcoming season’s big meetings.

For Monegasque teams, this Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series is their qualifier for the J/70 World Championship and they leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of dominance in this event.
