Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene met baby Anna and her parents at the Monaco City Hall on 30 September. The sweet baby brought the Monégasque national population to a symbolic 10,000 for the first time. Born in June, Anna’s birth has brought the Monégasque national community into a new milestone. As of 31 December 2025, the Principality had 9,959 Monegasques, a figure that has tripled since 1951.

Princely Family welcomes President of Italy to Monaco for First Time

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene welcomed Sergio Mattarella, President of Italy, and his daughter, Laura Mattarella, to the Princely Palace on 2 October. The historic visit was the first time an Italian Head of State visited the Principality.

The President and his daughter arrived at 11:30 a.m. in the Cour d’Honneur of the Prince’s Palace, where Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene and their children, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella welcomed them. Next came military honours, the national anthems of Italy and Monaco, and an inspection of the military detachment by the two Heads of State. A 30-minute private audience between the Prince and the President then took place in the Family Drawing Room of the Palace. At the same time, Princess Charlene received Laura Mattarella in the Guard Room.

Sir Stelios presents €610,000 to Prince Albert II for Mediterranean Marine Life

A substantial check was presented to Prince Albert II by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou following 14th Stelios Philanthropic Foundation Charity Fundraiser Dinner, which raised €610,000 for the Prince Albert II Foundation on 30 September. Donations from guests were matched euro-for-euro by the Sir Stelios foundation, with proceeds then shared equally between the WWF and the Prince Albert II Foundation.

The charity dinner was held at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall in the presence of Prince Albert II and Daudi Sumba, WWF Chief Conservation Officer. More than 60 philanthropists and environmental supporters attended, in aid of the Pelagos Sanctuary and the Mediterranean’s wider network of marine protected areas. A charity auction was also held during the event. The Stelio’s dinners have now raised a total of €4.2 million for marine conservation over 14 editions.

Princess Caroline attends 5th Smile Day in Larvotto

The Princess of Hanover attended the fifth edition of Smile Day (Journée du Sourire), a charity event held at Anne-Marie Campora Square in Larvotto, on 3 October. Organized by Les Smileys Monaco association, the event supports children and their families by providing comfort during stressful times related to medical care.

Placed under the Honorary Presidency of Prince Albert II of Monaco, the day offered an entertaining program for people of all ages. Drone piloting lessons for children, taekwondo demonstrations with AS Monaco, performances by the Monaco All Star cheerleaders, and music by singer Pit Steven were all on the program.

Princess Charlene Illuminates Casino Square for Pink October

Princess Charlene symbolically lit the Casino Square in pink on 3 October. Under the Honorary Presidency of Princess Charlene, Pink Ribbon Monaco is celebrating its 16th Pink October this year. Throughout the month, twenty-four buildings across Monaco, including the Prince’s Palace, are illuminated in pink in support of the prevention, screening, and treatment of breast cancer.

Princess Caroline attends Nursing Institute Graduation Ceremony

The Princess of Hanover attended the Institute of Nursing and Nursing Assistant Training 2026 graduation ceremony at the Princess Grace Hospital (CHPG). Princess Caroline, patron of the institute, presented the 25 graduating nurses and 14 nursing assistants with their diplomas.

Princely Couple attends European Peace Meeting with Pope Leo XIV

On the final day of Pope Leo XIV’s four-day visit to France, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attended the European Peace Meeting in Metz on 28 September. Attending as guests of  President Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron, the Princely Couple attended the meeting concerning peace and unity with other European leaders.

Princess Caroline attends 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment Saint Michael’s Day Ceremony

The Princess of Hanover took part in the Saint Michael’s Day celebrations, the traditional festival of French paratroopers, alongside the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment and the Carabiniers du Prince, at the Place Nationale in Montauban on 22 September. 

Princess Caroline has been the patron of the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment for the past fourteen years. The event was presided over by General Jean-Christophe Béchon. Saint Michael is the patron saint and protector of airborne troops.

Bal de Noël will Support the Monaco SPA for the First Time

After years of raising funds for the Princess Charlene Foundation, the Bal de Noël will take place in support of Monaco’s Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA). The charity is closely connected to Princess Charlene, the gala’s longstanding patron and president of the SPA.

The 21st Bal de Noël will take place on Friday 11 December at the Hôtel de Paris, under the High Patronage of Princess Charlene.
