Minister of Finance and Economy Jean Castellini today visited the apartments in the Jardins d’Apolline and Soleil du Midi buildings that are set to be allocated in the near future. He was accompanied by Patrice Cellario, Minister of the Interior, Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council, Rémy Rolland, Director of the State Property Authority, Sylvie Rossi, Director of the Housing Department, Albert Croesi, Lead Manager for H.E. the Minister of State, and members of the National Council Franck Lobono (Chair of the National Council’s Housing Committee) and Béatrice Fresko-Rolfo.

Following several years of preparation, the Monegasque Handball Federation has lately signed a convention to develop handball in Monaco and the surrounding region, in particular the eastern part of the Alpes-Maritimes. The convention covers the European and Monegasque handball federations, in partnership with the French and Italian federations. The concrete start was a project called “Levant 06”, which was launched in 2007 with the merger of AS Monaco and neighbouring clubs. Cooperation in the development of Clubs like La Turbie and Ventimiglia have been all part of the growth kindled by Monaco. And altogether there are now 10 Clubs.

On 21 September 2019, the Casino de Monte-Carlo organized its second Punto Banco tournament with the highest prize pool in Europe, 1 million euros, for the top players. 56 participants representing 21 nationalities had to pass the qualifying stage before attaining their place at the prestigious Medecin hall. The tournament was a special Monte-Carlo experience over the weekend for the sought-after players, which demonstrated once again that the game is a form of art.

2020 car registration stickers now on sale for vehicles registered in Monaco
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office would like to inform users that annual car registration invoices for 2020 have been sent to all owners of vehicles registered in the Principality of Monaco. The 2020 car registration campaign will run from 1 October 2019 to 31 December 2019.
