The Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival Organising Committee is delighted to announce that the 45th Festival and the 10th New Generation Circus will be held at the famous Fontvieille Big Top from Saturday 22 to Sunday 30 January 2022. After being deprived of a Festival in 2021, the public will be able to rediscover all the magic of the circus as we mark these two anniversaries.

What would you call a legendary car that’s “hellish fast” surrounded by myths, the stuff of royalty – fit for the world’s bravest epitomized by James Bond. It’s the Aston Martin Valhalla – and 100 of them might grace the garages of the richest connoisseurs on the planet.

They’ll have to wait at least until 2023 to take delivery but you can take a peek at the concept at The Monaco Yacht Show. The British manufacturer Aston Martin has chosen the event to unveil, not a boat but its future hybrid supercar, to a handpicked few.

TikTok Comedy with “Guess-Who” Monegasque Racing Ace, Charles in Comic Motion

Many of us have a little bit of Mr. Bean in us – even Charles Leclerc it seems! Small everyday events go comically wrong. Imagine a racing ace suddenly becomes unimaginably incapable of making a smooth mount into his sports car.

These comic types of antics have earned a Senegalese-Italian influencer over 100 million subscribers on TikTok. Phenomenon of the social network TikTok, the 21-year-old Senegalese Khaby Lame started posting viral videos in March 2020 from Italy. Out of work in Turin in the pandemic, instead of being overwhelmed by circumstance, he turned a difficult situation on its head and started doing short episodes on TikTok of complete ineptness. And Khaby Lame’s hilarious imitations and funny sketches of everyday life have hit the mark with the general public.

On the occasion of European Mobility Week, which began on Thursday 16 September, a progress report on “carpooling,” held on 17 September, brought together all those involved – State Departments and partner businesses. A comprehensive and positive assessment of the subject was followed by a lively, fruitful discussion between all the participants.

As a reminder, a new carpooling scheme was officially launched in the Principality in September 2020.  Flexible, adaptable and particularly suited to commuting, it was based on an application by the Klaxit company, the French leader in short-distance carpooling. It now includes 27 entities, all signatories of the National Pact on Energy Transition, with a total of around 13,000 employees.

Relaxation of Some Important Health Measures, though Masks Remain

There is some positive news on the health side in the Principality. The incidence of Covid infections has lowered from the levels earlier in the summer to as low as 31 recently. Less than 40 per 100.000 people is a relatively favourable benchmark. And the percentage of Monaco residents vaccinated continues to rise to 78% – that is just under 27.000 residents.

Once the percentage vaccinated rises above 90% the likelihood of the whole community being protected further (collective immunity) rises which may give an opportunity for a further relaxation of health measures.

In July 2022, the Grimaldi Forum will host an exhibition dedicated to designer Christian Louboutin for its main summer event. It will be reorganized by scenographer Olivier Gabet for a 2022 version with a Monegasque twist.

The rain came late in the Russian Grand Prix race in Sochi and changed everything! From then on the Russian Grand Prix presented a completely different challenge in the wet which tossed aside all that had gone before. Those who had pitted and chosen intermediate tyres instead of the slick hard tyres for drier conditions were able to get the most out of their cars in the rain. Those still on the slick hard tyres were casualties…
